Mosaic at the former AZLK plant
Здание 1939 года на бывшей территории автозавода пока еще не снесли, и на нем можно увидеть мозаику, на которой изображен процесс производства автомобиля.
В разное время в этой постройке на Волгоградском проспекте был главный конвейер КИМ-МЗМА (Коммунистический интернационал молодёжи – Московский завод малолитражных автомобилей), позже моторно-механический цех, позже кузовной цех первой территории АЗЛК (Автомобильный завод имени Ленинского комсомола), в последние годы – офисы и склады в аренду.
На мозаике схематично изображены модели, которые собирали на заводе с 1933 по 1968 годы: Форд-А/ГАЗ-А, КИМ/Москвич 400/401, Москвич 402/407/403, Москвич 408.
Constructed in 1939 this building on the former territory of the motorcar factory has not yet been demolished, and you can see there a mosaic depicting the process of car production.
At various times in this building on Volgogradsky prospekt different enterprises were located: firstly, the main conveyor of KIM-MZMA (which stands for Young Communist International – Small-displacement motorcar factory), later – a motor-mechanical workshop, after that – a body shop of the first territory of AZLK (Automobile Plant named after the Leninist Komsomol), in recent years – offices and warehouses for rent.
The mosaic schematically shows the models that were assembled at the plant from 1933 to 1968: Ford-A / GAZ-A, KIM / Moskvich 400/401, Moskvich 402/407/403, Moskvich 408.
