Oktyabrsky radiocentre – Oktyabrskoe radiofield

Когда-то территория Октябрьского радиоцентра в Хорошёво-Мневниках была закрытой и охраняемой, но теперь большая её часть открыта для свободного доступа.

Часть забора радиоцентра со стороны улицы Демьяна Бедного снесли в 2014 году, и оказалось, что там уже совсем не поле, а лес, за годы основательно завоевавший пространство, впрочем, в его центре осталась еще большая поляна, на которой когда-то стояло множество радиопередатчиков, в том числе и советских «глушилок» западных радиостанций.

С момента открытия территории прошло больше пяти лет, но до сих пор она выглядит довольно заброшенной – вокруг какие-то остатки строений и антенн, а окружают её сплошной бетонный забор и стены гаражей. Нормальный проход на радиополе так и остался один – со стороны улицы Демьяна Бедного, хотя есть еще несколько дырок в заборах, через которые можно пройти – например, со стороны улицы Берзарина и Новохорошевского проезда. Но уже хорошо, что сюда не добралось, уничтожающее все живое, собянинское «благоустройство» с плиткой и храмами.

Из интересных построек сейчас тут можно увидеть конструктивистское кирпичное здание радиоцентра с техническим бассейном для охлаждения передатчиков. На фасаде дома кирпичами выложена дата строительства: 1928-29 годы, а также аббревиатура Н.К.П. и Т. – Народный комиссариат почт и телеграфов. А со стороны улицы Демьяна Бедного сохранилось здание радиоцентра 1914 года постройки.

И еще тут есть поле с дикими травами и прекрасным видом на радиотелевизионную башню «Октод».

Once the territory of the Oktyabrsky radiocenter in Khoroshevo-Mnevniki was closed and guarded, but now most of it is open for free access. 

Part of the fence of the radiocenter from Demyana Bednogo street was demolished in 2014, and it turned out that there was no longer a field behind the walls, but a forest, which had conquered space over the years, however, in its center there was still a large clearing where a lot of radio transmitters, including Soviet "jammers" of western radio stations, had been located a long time ago. 

More than five years have passed since the opening of the territory, but until now it looks rather abandoned – there are some remains of buildings and antennas around, and a continuous concrete fence and the walls of garages surround it. Only one simple way to the radio field exists: from the side of Demyana Bednogo street, although there are several more holes in the fences through which you can get inside – for example, from the side of Berzarina street and Novokhoroshevsky proezd. And it is good enough that Sobyanin’s "blagoustroistvo" or "improvement of living environment", destroying all living, haven’t got here yet with their concrete pavers and temples. 

One of the interesting buildings here is the constructivist-style brick building of the radiocenter with a technical pool for cooling transmitters. On the facade you can see the date of construction laid out with bricks: 1928-29, as well as the abbreviation N.K.P. and T. – which stands for People’s Commissariat of Posts and Telegraphs. And from the side of Demyana Bednogo street, one can see another building of the radiocenter, constructed in 1914.

Октябрьская радиостанция была построена в 1914 году на Ходынском поле и называлась тогда Ходынской радиостанцией. Главной её задачей было установление радиосвязи с Западной Европой, в первую очередь с союзниками по Первой Мировой войне. 

Автоматы и другие установленные приборы допускали скорость передачи до 70 слов в минуту, при этом с Ходынской радиостанции производилась только передача сообщений – из-за больших помех мощных искровых передатчиков, приемную радиостанцию разместили на большом расстоянии – в городе Твери, где была построена «Тверская радиостанция международных сношений». 

После 1917 года получила название «Радиостанция имени Коминтерна», а в ноябре 1922 года, к пятой годовщине Октябрьской революции, её переименовали в «Октябрьскую». Поле с антеннами стали называть Октябрьским военным радиополем, в дальнейшем его название было сокращено до Октябрьского поля.

В 1940-х годах радиостанция снова сменила название, став Московским Октябрьским приемопередающим радиоцентром (МОПРЦ).

С начала 1960-х годов территория радиоцентра начинает значительно уменьшаться – земля отдается под строительство жилья.

В 1991 году на базе государственной станции была создана коммерческая операторская радиовещательная компания «Октод» – со 150 метровой мачты компании велось вещание телеканала ТНТ и радиостанций: «Серебряный дождь», «Наше Радио», «МАЯК-24», «Радио 7», «Радио Любовь», «Радио Максимум». Здесь же впервые в России проводились опытные передачи телевидения высокой четкости HDTV.

В 2006 году вместо 150 метровой радиомачты была построена новая телерадиопередающая башня «Октод» высотой 258 метров.

A brief history of the radio station

The Oktyabrsky radio station was built in 1914 on the Khodynsky field and was then called the Khodynsky radio station. Its main task was to establish radio communications with Western Europe, primarily with allies in the First World War. 

Automata and other installed devices allowed a transmission speed of up to 70 words per minute, while only messages were transmitted from the Khodynsky radio station – due to the large interference from powerful spark transmitters, the receiving radio station was located at a great distance – in the city of Tver, where the Tver Radio Station of international relations was built. 

After 1917 the Khodynsky radio station got the name "Radio Station named after the Comintern", and in November 1922, on the fifth anniversary of the October Revolution, it was renamed into "Oktyabrskaya". The field with antennas became known as the Oktyabrskoe Military Radio Field; later its name was reduced to the Oktyabrskoe Field. 

In the 1940s, the radio station changed its name again, becoming the Moscow Oktyabrsky Transceiver Radiocenter (MOPRTS). 

Since the beginning of the 1960s, the territory of the radiocenter begins to decrease significantly – part of its land is given out for housing construction. 

In 1991, the Oktod commercial broadcasting company was established on the basis of the state station. TNT television and radio stations: Silver Rain, Nashe Radio, MAYAK-24, Radio 7, Radio Love, Radio Maximum were broadcasting from the company's 150-meter antenna mast. Here, for the first time in Russia, pilot transmissions of high-definition television HDTV were carried out. 

In 2006, instead of a 150-meter mast, a new "Oktod" broadcasting tower with a height of 258 meters was built.
